Duties include: vocational counseling and evaluation, vocational plan development, job analyses, labor market analyses, and job placement activities. Vocational expert witness consultation services include: assessment of vocational potential, wage earning capacity, vocational analysis and options, and job search activities. Experienced in personal injury, wrongful termination, medical malpractice, spousal support, Longshore and Harbor Workers, Maritime, and Worker’s Compensation cases.

Vocational case manager for Alameda County Disability Management Program. Received referrals of work injured Alameda County employees. Provided early intervention services such as essential function job analysis, department/physician work restriction coordination, referral for ergonomic or Functional Capacity Evaluation, ordering specialized equipment. Coordinated referral and placement to county modified work program. Participation in county accommodation process. Facilitate permanent accommodations or alternative work placement.

 

Contract Case Manager, United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Oakland, CA (1998-2000)

 

Case manager for disabled veterans participating in vocational rehabilitation programs. Provided vocational and program participation counseling services. Met with veteran and school officials to develop programs appropriate to work goal. Monitored progress toward plan completion and readiness for employment.
